Batter Up

Today, I've got a sweet tooth. (Today? Who am I kidding? Every day.)
So, I headed to the grocery store for ingredients to make these babies:
Oh that's right. Cake Batter Blondies. I won't lie and say I didn't gasp with delight when I stumbled across this recipe via Girl Meets Life.  I also won't lie and say the batter wasn't the best I've ever had (salmonella, what's that? I love batter/dough). Currently, I'm not-so-patiently waiting for my oven timer to ring so I can run across the kitchen and get these bad boys out of the oven. Stay tuned for results. But until then, make some of your own. Because they are so easy- I repeat, they are so easy.

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 – 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
directions: Combine the first four ingredients in a large bowl. Add the milk slowly – you want the batter to remain as dense as possible. Then mix in the rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate chips. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
Duh I added extra sprinkles for added goodness.
