Dear Summer,

I apologize for not counting down your arrival. I look forward to you every year- your warmth, your sunshine, your adventure. You'll have to excuse my behavior, as this time for me has been difficult to cope with; my relationship with you will be slightly different in emotions than those of the past. But even so, these adventures on the horizon of your presence are exhilarating. I know I'll find the strength, positivity for change, and inspiration in your long lazy days that I'm spending on the Emerald Coast this year. Don't let me, or any of us, down.
